How do we create the heat?

joga_icon_slate.png

Other hot wellness studios use forced-air HVAC systems or space heaters to superheat the air, creating a heavy, humid "greenhouse" effect. By contrast, our studio uses advanced Far Infrared (FIR) heating panels. These panels emit invisible light waves that pass through the air silently and absorb directly into your skin, warming your muscle tissue from the inside out. This form of heat is radiant energy that warms objects and bodies directly, rather than heating the air around them. It is the exact same type of comforting, therapeutic warmth you feel when you step into a patch of natural sunlight—completely free of any harmful UV rays.

Because the air itself isn’t being blasted or superheated, the studio environment stays remarkably fresh, crisp, and easy to breathe in, allowing you to experience all the deep physiological benefits of heat without feeling stifled.

What to Bring...

  • A yoga mat if you have one, don't worry if you don't own a mat, we will provide them!

  • A towel to cover your mat if you're signed up for a hot or warm class (this reduces slipping during poses)

  • You may want a headband for a hot class to reduce sweat falling into your eyes.

  • An extra towel and toiletries should you wish to use our shower facilities after class.

  • An insulated water bottle.

  • Wear form-fitting, moisture-wicking synthetic activewear (like polyester or spandex blends) that stays light when wet. Avoid baggy cotton clothing, which traps sweat and falls in your face during poses. Think athletic shorts or leggings.
